At least compared to last season.
Anyhow, I'm very disappointed that our chances in winning the division look slim. But I'm stoked that it looks like we'll be in the playoffs (especially being 2 games up in the wildcard with 3 games to go). Hopefully we have a Cardinals-esque collapse.
So how far do you see us going? I keep telling everyone that we're going to beat the Yankees in the World Series, but realistically we'll probably lose in 6 games in the NLCS.

Fri, September 29, 2006 - 9:25 AMWe would play the Mets in a short series correct ?
Found out today Pedro is out.
I like are chances with Maddox. -

Fri, September 29, 2006 - 11:48 AMIf we somehow pull off winning the division we would face the Cardinals or Astros, and we would most likely have home field advantage miraculously.
But most likely we will be seeing the Mets. I like our hitting against the Met's depleted pitchers. Hopefully a miracle occurs and we suddenly get stellar pitching.

Re: Quiet Season
Fri, September 29, 2006 - 9:37 AMI'm hoping for a sweep this weekend. I'd be happy to end the regular season with wins over the Giants. WHo's San Diego playing this weekend? Arizona? -

Fri, September 29, 2006 - 11:49 AMYup, they're at Arizona. They need to lose two and we win two in order for us to win the division.
